Yachting AV/IT solutions company Videoworks has announced that three yachts from Dutch yard Heesen Yachts are set to feature its bespoke systems, with 67m SPARTA being the first installed with such technology. With two more yachts set to be equipped by Videoworks, this marks the beginning of an exciting new partnership.

Videoworks offers a range of bespoke, high-technology yachting solutions to enhance AV/IT systems on board superyachts. Designed to satisfy any individual request, these solutions are also characterised by being stylish, original, user-friendly and reliable. Videoworks’ systems encompass everything from light and temperature to energy meters, extending beyond entertainment and into every aspect of a yacht’s design.

The company has recently announced that it will be equipping three Heesen yachts with systems, one of which is the stunning 67m SPARTA. This iconic vessel has been supplied with the complete audio-visual and IT package, uniquely built to reflect the strong and striking design of the yacht.

SPARTA has been equipped with a graphical user interface that complements Winch Design’s stunning interior, designed for elegant and harmonious family living. The use of colour and natural themes onboard SPARTA have been reflected in the MyInfo app which controls the AV system onboard.

‘MyInfo is Videoworks’ award-winning app for iPad, now in its third generation, and it gives full control over audio and visual content across Sparta,’ commeted Stefan Nieuwenhuys, General Manager of Videoworks Europe BV. ‘This project demanded a highly customised graphical user interface, featuring some very specific icons and functions to match the way the build owner wanted to use the systems. We have a complete IT team in-house who did all the programming and design work to deliver that vision.’

The system has been built to ensure that audio and video is distributed centrally from a single point, ensuring that the set-up is future proof as it is possible to swap to high-speed internet streaming services without replacing equipment.
